Harun Sencal is a part-time lecturer in Islamic Economics and Finance at Al-Maktoum College of Higher Education. He teaches Islamic economics and finance and Islamic accounting and auditing units. He holds a PhD in Islamic Finance from Durham University, UK. He graduated from the Computer Engineering Department of the Yeditepe University in his undergraduate years. He obtained an MBA degree from Yeditepe University and a Masters in Computer Science from Jordan University of Science and Technology. His main research area includes both qualitative and quantitative aspects of Islamic economics and finance as well as accounting and auditing.
